Healing the Hood Foundation of Memphis

WHO ARE WE
HTH is a nonprofit organization that provides positive outlets for youth of all ages and young adults through singing, dancing, art, acting, motivational speaking, screen writing, and modeling. If we can positively influence our young people to think before they make decisions, get out of gangs, avoid outcomes that result from peer pressure, stay away from drugs and alcohol, steer away from weapons and other mass destruction, then we have just saved someone's life and helped them to be the dynamic person they were created to be. In conjunction with helping and reaching out to building the youth and maintaining partnerships with the community particularly the churches, the bottom line for what we do and who we are is to practice ministry principles first!

The Heal The Hood Foundation of Memphis' purpose is to implement and find creative methods to provide educational, cultural, and social economic and community change in the city of Memphis and surrounding areas that are heavily populated by youth crime, violence and other social deviant patterns of behaviors through multi-media science.
